Joro Petcov, Chair

Joro graduated from the University of Velico Turnovo in Ecology and Environmental Protection. He enjoys fieldwork, but currently works for a trade company in charge of a big warehouse. Joro and his wife Rady have a daughter, Iren, and live in Sofia.

Alexandra Alexandrova

Sasha graduated from the Mining and Geological University in Sofia as a Geo-ecological Engineer. Since then she has passed a course in Eastern and Central Europe Solid Waste Management Technologies. She is the engineer responsible for the Kremikovtzi area (which has the biggest metal factory in Bulgaria) of the Capital Municipality. She has written proposals for several NGOs about cleaning up and planting polluted areas. She also spends her spare time walking in the mountains.

Anelia Borissova

Anni graduated from Sofia University in Biology and works in the chemical department at the Bulgarian pharmaceutical company Sopharma, specialising in medicinal plants. In her spare time she enjoys teaching others about botany and the conservation of rare species and habitats.

Olya Lazarova

Olya graduated from the Technical University in Sofia in Textile Technologies and has since studied marketing. She currently works in the subscription department at a newspaper agency. Her main interest is walking in the mountains.

Pepi Kantchev

Pepi is an Attorney at Law in Sofia and a part-time pastor in his local church.
