A programme of research for our environment

A Rocha France is currently carrying out general research in the Vallée des Baux (on flora, fauna, landscape, history, sociology…). The aim of this programme is to demonstrate the impact that human activities have on the renewal of our environment. The studies we undertake should enable us to make the public aware of the harmful as well as beneficial effects our activities can have on the natural world.

Interaction with other scientific organizations

A Rocha France works on a number of different research programmes (Macro-insectivores, Natura 2000, Suivi Temporel des Oiseaux Communs…) in cooperation with recognized scientific organizations (the Conservatoire des Espaces Naturels en Provence, the Tour du Valat - a study centre on the Carmargue, and the French Natural History Museum).
