Climate Stewards

When we travel by air or by car we emit carbon dioxide (CO2) which contributes to global warming. It goes without saying that the most effective way to reduce our emissions is to reduce our travel by car or air by using other forms of public transport as much as possible. When we have done that the chances are we will still be doing some car mileage and the occasional air journey. We can reduce the impact of this by establishing tree planting and other projects which offset and reduce CO2 emissions. This is called carbon mitigation.

It is too late to stop global warming in the short term, but by being "carbon neutral" we can slow the rate of change and give more time for human populations and wildlife to adapt.
