A Rocha Santa Barbara
A Rocha Santa Barbara is creating a set of small local initiatives to promote conservation and address the needs of the poor.
Join us on May 12th from 7:30 - 9:00 at The Loft, 821 State St., for "Serving God Through Caring for the Earth" as we explore practical ways in which we can act out our Biblical mandate to care for creation. This session is a follow up to Matthew Sleeth's recent visit and is intended to deepen our discussion of the ways we can worship and honor God through stewarding the resources He has given us. The event will include a brief talk by Eric Lohela, Recycling Coordinator for the City of Santa Barbara.
